Terms and Conditions

Walkies will offer a minimum 30 minute or standard 1 hour dog walking service,

which may include a 5 minute drying/towel down, if necessary.

First walk/meeting will be free of charge and must be with the customer at the place of normal dog collection.

​

Subsequent walks to be agreed in advance, by way of email or text. Requests from customers to be received by Friday in respect of the week commencing the following Monday. Walkies will confirm dates by email or text but reserves the right to cancel agreed walks, giving 48 hours notice.

Walkies is not responsible for any losses incurred (pecuniary or otherwise) due to the cancellation of the walk.

​

Dogs will be walked one to one (unless from a 2 dog household) and on the lead, until walker is satisfied with the dog's recall. Customer signature is required for off-lead walking, in advance.

​

The customer to complete booking form and disclose the dogs physical, medical and behavioural needs before walks commence and also provide updates to us as necessary.

​

The customer to provide the following:

​

  • All equipment (in reasonable condition) such as collars, leads, harnesses, coats, towel etc. Collars to have owners name and address.

  • Vets and pet insurance details.

  • Keys to house (if no household member at home) and details to ensure quick and easy access to house

  • All information required on the Booking Form

​

Customer confirms that the dogs vaccinations are up to date and will be kept up to date.

​

Walkies will supply the following:

​

  • Poo-bags, treats (to be given with customers agreement).

  • Insurance for public liability, care, custody and control, and loss of keys.

​

Financial:

​

  • Payments to be made weekly.

  • Minimum of 24 hours notice required for cancellation (by text or email), otherwise full fee is payable.

  • Walkies will not be responsible or liable for any vets or related fees. Prior to any veterinary treatment, you will be required to give approval to the vet. In the case of an emergency, the vet will decide upon the appropriate action, with no liability to Walkies.

  • Walkies will not be held responsible for the loss, injury or death or actions of any dog that the customer has let outside or has instructed Walkies to allow outside, while we are not there. This includes dog-flaps.
